Zion Wright: The Route One Zoom Interview
There are a series of milestones in every pro skateboarder's life that really signify the ascension of one's career. The local shop flowing you some bearings is a biggie, as is the moment a board brand offers you a place on the team. At the very top of the pile, a true landmark occasion to show you've really made it; the shoe with your name on it. This is exactly where Zion Wright finds himself with the release of his signature colourway of the Vans Zahba!
Obviously we had to catch up with Zion to get the lowdown on everything from the shoe to what it means to him - gotta celebrate the wins in this game!
Sadly scheduling meant Zion was down under for the launch of the shoe, meaning we couldn't chat in person, so we took advantage of that most 2020 of technologies and primed up a zoom call.
